Well.......

If you are looking to buy what is pictured, you will be disappointed. These have NO COUNTERWEIGHTS as the pictures show. These boom stands are way more stand then boom, but for around $25 ea., what can you expect. These need to have the other vertical tube in the middle of the stand to allow them to raise more than about 4.5 feet. And a little more "boom" would be nice. Overall these are OK stands for the price, but just don't expect to much height or boom.
