    The Real Deal
Another genuine product from Harris. Buying knock-off is just plain stupid. Excellent seat sealing, with no excess effort. Clean, well defined, neutral flame.
Lot Of 25 Pounds Bullet Casting Metal Lead Ingots ***Over 5000Lbs Sold***

    Quality Alloy
No impurities to impair casting. Fluxing yielded no slag. Mold fillout is excellent, which indicates adequate tin content. An excellent softer alloy, very good for low chamber pressure loads. BHN tested in the mid 13 range. Excellent performance in .38 Special, and .45ACP (both low velocity, 17,000psi chamber pressure loads). Bullets cast for these calibers, lubed with 50/50 NRA Alox , showed no barrel leading at velocities up to 900fps. A good choice for those who don't care to develop their own alloy. Dump it in the pot, and it's ready to go. For those who require harder lead for higher velocity, higher pressure, loads...it should be a simple matter of adding Antinomy to bring the BHN up to 16 (something approximating Lyman #2 Alloy). I'd estimate, and this is only an estimate, that another 2-3% Antimony would yield a good #2 Alloy. Weight, as shipped, was spot on. Ingots were uniform. I would feel comfortable recommending this alloy to anybody. It's good stuff.
