I purchased this item before and used it on a desktop Computer, recently I moved computers around and had no wall outlet in the areas where I wanted to placed the computers, I had to double back and make to additional purchases. They are ideal in every way since they are plug and play using Windows 10 and save you from the hassle of pulling cables. Looking forward to purchase a few more soon for future projects.
