Nice upgrade from iPhone 7+

Superb Camera Phone!
4 of 5 found this helpful It really depends on how you intend to use the phone aside from calls. it's not as smart as the other smart phones out there but it still does the job. you can still browse the web, though i have not tried this for i don't have the patience to wait stuff to upload coz im used to fast computers. anyway, Its main focus is to be a camera which it truly excels in. Im impressed with the clarity and the modes that are available. you'll have fun with the camera specially if you know a lil about photography for it has features like an updated Sony camera on the market. it has continous mode, capturing 9 consecutive images on the hold of the shutter. panorama which stick together 2 to 3 of your images for a wide image. mosaic which is a fun feature. combine pictures in a creative way. it even has a smile feature that regular cameras on the market have. it has the usual effects, brightness, timer. the video is impressive with the ability to capture 720x480 in resolution and offers slow motion mode. WOW! Its light compared to other smart phones. the touch screen is not as great as the iphone. its still good but im a hardcore texter and im used to having actual keypads thats why im having difficulty with it. The back looks like an old school film camera with a textured grip which is a Plus for me coz im a fan of photography. anyway, im getting bored now, so il sum it all up with this.
If your looking for a phone's Smartphone feature first, then Camera phone second, then go for an expensive Nokia N97 or Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 that goes for $700 easy without plan.
but if your more interested on the camera phone features than smart phone features, id get this cheap $300 Samsung Memoir Camera Phone that excels in photography and can still perform smartphone functions.
for me,these are the 3 basic features that a regular user need on a day to day basis.
-Call/Text feature
-Camera Feature
-Internet Feature

if camera feature goes first that the internet feature and your on a tight budget, Go for Samsung Memoir!
