About
Ebay no longer provides seller protections from abusive buyers. I now have one negative feedback from a buyer who changed his feedback MONTHS after purchasing what was an explicitly-clear listing about the condition of a used camera body. Ebay's response to me was clearly AI-generated babble.
I will no longer accept bids or offers from anyone with less than 25 positive transactions. I worked diligently to maintain my 100% feedback and now that is ruined thanks to Ebay's policies.
If we transact together I expect integrity, honestly and openness. If you have fewer than 25 feedbacks contact me before bidding.
If you're going to retaliate with negative feedback I don't want to deal with you.

Good addition to my computer workstation toys.
Ok...let's get this straight...I'm 60 years old and as a photographer and educator I spend a LOT of time at my computer. This makes a perfect distraction to go with my pull-back airplanes and others. So...for time on hold or whatever this is a fun way to pass the time.
Only wish the wheels were soft rubber versus plastic.

Professional photographer finds old-school digital gem
4 of 4 found this helpful I first shot the X-Pro1 in 2012 when Fujifilm sent me one with the original lenses to play with. Even then I had a love/hate relationship with this camera. As someone who grew up with film and whose first camera was an Yashica GSN 35mm rangefinder the X-Pro1 was a joy to get in my hands.
This is NOT a beginner's camera by any means. The focus is a bit slow - though the firmware update helps. The menus and combinations of functions can be confusing - until you get a grasp of creating your preferred set-up on controls and menus. From that point forward it is a joy to use!
I run my fairly stripped down on controls and functions and options...I don't use the film simulation modes nor the auto-focus assist and/or the parallax correction features relying on my skill with rangefinders instead.
Image quality is fantastic and the high-ISO files are superb - one of the main reasons I wanted this.
Prices on this camera can't be beat either. I'll have the X-Pro1, 18mm and 18-55mm for under a grand.
If you are a former rangefinder and film shooter and want that feel again in a digital format this is a great start!
