It looks funny!
1 of 1 found this helpful I was surprised to see the new design. It is not what I'm used to, but it works like I would expect. If you are putting it into a 24 hp twin you may need to pull a little more wire out of the harness, only 1/4" - 1/2" or so, to plug it in to the harness. Otherwise it is a direct fit. I do wish they would do what Briggs used to do and send a .010 card stock to set the gap with, but if you are at all good with guessing distances you shouldn't need it. Briggs & Stratton ignition systems are not that picky. Just set it far enough out that it won't rub the flywheel. The only problem I had with this coil is the plug terminal was straight and I needed a 90 degree terminal.

Well worth the investment!
This is an O. E. M. replacement kit. It fits perfectly and has solved the problem. I have had to install this kit on many engines and have had no further problems with any of the other units.

DEFINITELY CHECK WITH YOUR GAS SUPPLIER!!!!
1 of 1 found this helpful I made the mistake of not reading the product details section of this sellers listing. When they say "these tanks are not stamped" they mean there are no DOT #'s and no date of manufacture #'s on them. In some states, like Iowa, these #'s must be present in order to be filled or exchanged. I was not aware of this, so I had to buy a new Oxygen tank as a cost of $85.00 (filled) in order to use mine.
Definitely CHECK with your supplier or exchange service 1st. I wish I would have. Beyond this mistake on MY part, this is a great torch kit. Everything is of good quality and looks very nice.
Ashton Welding Technology is a company you can trust! They were very honest about the tank situation and I failed to do my part in researching the product.
