Black leather NABRE is great!
2 of 2 found this helpful This edition is a very comfortable fit for the hands with the best Bible translation out there today between its covers. It has all the great helps that I enjoyed as a student at Catholic School as a young adult. Fireside's helps are always quite interesting and helpful in navigating topics within the text. This version is particularly fine due to the leather or leather like cover (who can tell, it feels great). Pick up this edition if you want a Catholic bible, the NABRE translation, or some other good third reason.

CEB
This is in the line of great Bible translations: NRSV, NABRE, JPS, and some of the more obscure scholarly ones such as Barnstone's. Check this Bible out!

An excellent 3-in-1
This version of the 3-in-1 commemorates the changing of the name of The Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. It has a nice feel too it, not too mention a generous dose of content. The Inspired Version of the Scriptures is great and has introductions to each chapter to make the whole process more intelligible. The Book of Mormon is good, but Herald took out the page introductions, so the BOM is just plain text, which can be difficult to wade through. The Doctrine and Covenants is awesome and contains some very recent and inspirational sections from the current president of the church. However, the appendix was removed containing very interesting sections such as those concerning baptism for the dead, Church business, and even a Joseph Smith III blessing of succession forged by Mark Hoffmann and subsequently canonised by the church for a respite.
