it sucks
I tried cutting a hole in my computer for a fan. it drilled through, then started wobbling around in a circle so badly. I could not finish the hole. now I have a 1/2" drill hole, and deeply scarred circle marks from 100mm - 160mm. I can't even fix this mistake by using a 140mm hole saw. my only option now is try to cut it out with a grinder and put a massive ugly filter over it to cover the damage. totally not worth the money.
if using for wood, I'm sure it would work better. but it's advertized here as an iron/aluminum hole saw.

Best Gigabit ethernet adapter
This card is known as the "golden standard" of ethernet cards. I suffered from a lightning strike, which took out our cable modem, and every computer in the house. Fortunately mine only suffered ethernet damage, and still worked over wifi. I bought this card used for dirt cheap and it's restored my computer to it's former glory! I am still trying to download the latest software to run the awesome software that goes with it, but I did do a speed check as soon as I turned it on (attached) I'm getting better download speeds and much better latency than I was with the built in port! And now, if the lightning strikes again, most likely it will only take out this cheap card which I can buy again, and will probably protect the motherboard from further damage. maybe I'll look into ethernet protectors?
Anyways, I love this card, and for the price, I can't rant enough. It saved me from buying another gaming motherboard, and it fits in the 1x port I have unused. Definitely will buy this card again next time. I hope this helps other people
FYI Tech Specs (I did my research before buying):
Capable of Gigabit Internet (1000 Mbps)
Takes up a single 1x PCIE slot on motherboard
Plug & Play (though drivers are needed for the fancy analysis tools you can run with it)
Low power consumption (can't confirm, but that's what I read)
It just works

Best AC wifi card on the market
1 of 1 found this helpful I was looking for the absolute best wifi card I could get on the market. This card picks up 5GHz AC signals and older 2.4GHz signals. It has the latest standards, and is the absolute best card you could put in your computer. I absolutely recommend this card for anyone with an older laptop. It's 1 screw holding it in, and you will instantly be able to pick up newer, faster signals that were previously invisible to your laptop. I'm very satisfied. Windows recognized the hardware immediately and automatically installed drivers. Zero issues. Very happy customer.
