Finally - a case with a chip slot!
Terrific vendor -- responsive, knowledgeable; had to contact several times.
Had difficulty finding a key case with a built-in "box"/slot for the transponder chip. This one has it, but it comes with a permanently attached blank key blade. (I had hoped to use my original blade.) Was able to find a hardware store which would cut a blade not purchased from them ($10). Turns out the permanent attachment is far sturdier than my OEM setup, where the blade was held in place by a tiny screw.
WORD OF CAUTION: After much trial and error, we discovered that there are TWO separate pieces of plastic in the chip slot that need to be transferred for my 2004 Honda Accord. There is a cross-shaped plastic "lid" from the OEM chip slot AND a flat rectangular piece, which laid on the bottom of the slot (you have to dig it out). At first only the cross-shaped piece was used - the engine would not turn over.
