Wildly inaccurate temps
The press itself is just fine. The bottom plate that holds the feet is not as flat as it should be, so the feet are not flat and do not all contact the table surface as they should so there is some concern of it being unsteady but so far so good. Love that it swings 360 degrees to get out of the way when working on the bottom platen. The heat is very inconsistent- it has varied more than 50 degrees between 5 different locations and is wildly different than what the digital readout shows it to be. For example when set at 385 degrees and heated for quite some time (upwards of 15 minutes), it will read 261 in the center, 200 in outer corners. But what’s weird is that it will still sublimate just fine. Not sure what’s up with that. But as long as it is working and not burning, I’m ok for that. This was a cheap “starter” press to get going, never intended to be my “forever” press and will likely be upgraded in the future for something larger and more accurate. Overall it is a good piece of equipment if accuracy is not an issue for you.

Serves it’s purpose well
Exactly what you’d expect from a cover- easy to access drawers and doors, and rain rolls right off and doesn’t pool anywhere on it.

This OEM part was $151 from Maytag. This part fit perfectly and works flawlessly. Couldn’t be happier with this purchase.
