Radio Interface for GM Vehicles (2005 Chevy Trailblazer)
3 of 3 found this helpful I installed this on my 2005 Chevy Trailblazer EXT LT and it works exceptionally. I plugged it in the standard at first and the speakers did work. Then I plugged it into the amplified port and it sounds a lot better. I don't think I have the Bose package but the sound was better on the amplified port. I paired it with a Joying double din Android 5.1 Radio, the sound is amazing even with stock speakers. This interface is expensive but it also gives you steering wheel controls, and back up reverse wire, If you don't install the chirp (included) the door chime goes away, I hate the door chime so I decided not to install it lol. It's not overly complicated however I have experience installing Chinese double dins. The instructions are limited but if you have experience you'll be fine, if not I suggest finding a friend who knows a little or just taking it to a local shop and see what they charge.
Over all I am pleased with this unit and would buy again, I do recommend it.
