    DSC 213, old skul
Installed them in the rear door of my station wagon. These speakers, no matter what size you use are always clean and clear sounding. It took a while for me to figure out the intallation for the tweeter bec of the spring lock but it's easy. Quite innovative the way it was made. The in-line crossovers made it easy for the installation. These speakers were at low end of the line for the old models and they still sounded great. You get to hear all the detail and I am just using an aftermarket stereo rated at 14 watts RMS, 22 watts continous, no amps. They are still wonderful. How much more with the higher end models. I am yet to try them. The tweeters though can be hard on the ears so you will have to adjust the treble according to your tolerance. If you don't, you'll have your ears ringing after you step out of you car. These speakers used to be very expensive in the 80's and 90's i believe. I dont know about the sound quality of the newer MB Quart's since they have been acquired by maxx sonics. But my German made MB's are great. These are better than Infinity Kappa's for less price. If you want to upgrade your speakers for a reasonable price with excellent sound quality, you can never go wrong with MB quart's, down to the lowest model line up. Just as long you feed it enough juice. Don't use stock factory radio because you wont be able to appreciate the sound without enough power.
