As good as can be expected for the great AND cheap PRICE.
3 of 3 found this helpful This item needs perfect clear-blue sky to produce its maximum.
Both USB output PORTS will do the same job as each other --- no need to choose Blue Port over Black Port; they are equal.
With mid-day sun on an average early-SPRING day, I was able to obtain 2.3Amps into a load.
This 2.3Amps was obtained from just the Blue Port, and also from just the Black Port equally; and also
with ``combo`` 1.5Amps load on any one output Port, PLUS 0.8Amps load on the other output Port.
This is 11.5 Watts.
Although this is a 20 Watts Solar Panel, this is typical and expected for a quality CHEAP Panel.
Some Panels just as cheap will not yield close to 11.5Watts.
Don't expect miracles for $50 bucks!!! ~~~ You want true 20w usable, spend $100 bucks.

Solid Sanyo Quality through and through
2 of 2 found this helpful I've been using these for four months now, and they are better than NCR18650B
The raised large button top contacts inside more devices than the NCR B did, and on my Soshine H2 charger, I sometimes get 100mAh more usable capacity / sometimes I get 200mAh usable capacity. { It all depends on what state they are when I put `em back on charge. } ( ie. a dead flat charge gives the fuller charge / the hardly off full, top up charge gives the lesser charge )
These things are substatially heavy in the hand; which indicates lotsa juicy raw materials packed inside.
They are quality -- they are NOT copy-cat imposters.
Arrived half-charged only.
4 months ago, they each showed 3.500Volts. I saved one only to continue evaluating its state.
After never having been in a device, nor a charger, etc., 4 months later I still read 3.499Volts, and that has been in house where temp has varied from 9 degrees C to 29 degrees C.
I don't casually notice difference in runtimes verses the previous Generation NCR18650B, but these GA generation
are good.

Efficiency at low cost ! !
For all Portable Solar units sold below about $140, expect true deliverable output power to be well and truly under what the theoretical output power ratings from manufacturers is claimed to be.
This 18W item is no exception.
HOWEVER, this item does better than most other 16W - 20W units offered for sale anywhere at these prices.
Don't worry about which [of its 2] USB OUTPUT port you plug into: they are both the same current as each other.
ie. the black USB and the blue USB are equal.
.
It can yeild a steady / solid / constant / stable 2.2Amps total output.
( I purchased 6x this item, and 4x this item = 2.2Amps @ 5Volts and 2x this item even = 2.3Amps @ 5Volts )
If I exceed this limit, the internal protection circuit trips off, and resumes in a short few seconds at a much reduced voltage out.
If I wind back the total load to under 2.2A, then the protection circuit recognises this new load, and restores out to full 5Volts.
.
.
However, do note that I can only yeild these current out levels with clear sunshine (even in winter)
Even wispy thin clouds will kill output: you must have clear daylight.
