Very flexible for 10/3 copper cable. Its easier to carry the shorter length cords, with age. Will use to carry amps for a chain saw (13A), or a generator.

Thicker and better designed than the Farberware knock-offs from the superstore.
1 of 1 found this helpful These have much thicker plastic than the knock-off brands that have nearly the same shape and color. Also, the flare at the top rim of these is a better design. The Farberware knock-offs from the superstore break at the top rim, where I always grasp them while full of weight. They lasted roughly 5 years before cracking because they flex too much when I grab the rim. The flare at the top of the KitchenAid bowls, along with the thicker plastic, are engineered to prevent just that strain that breaks the cheaper bowls. Now you might be able to replace your cheaper bowls every 5 years for the same price as owning this one for 20 years, but who wants the hassle of replacing their cookware?

Very powerful on 'low'. No vibration-wobble! Would fit a 22" x 22" air filter, if you were using it for particulate filtration. Its a little loud for a TV room on 'low', but this fan moves lots of air with ease. I think this fan could filter air for the whole house. Its helped my allergies. We still use a ceiling fan for temperature control.
I really like this fan, and it only uses about 65W on low. It comes with a 3-prong plug and a sturdy cord.
