Special Effects were Real Stunts! Better than Robin Hood!
Amazing actors, Lancasters' genuine acrobatics, Mayo's confident beautiful graceful allure,
great story line, love this move! Will watch more than once. No wonder both Lancaster and Mayo were catapaulted in fame by this fan favorite!

Sorry, incomplete copy of original movie.
0 of 1 found this helpful Great and affecting movie. But this version has deleted Mother Superior's "Climb Every Mountain" solo by Mother Superior. I have enjoyed that inspiration in the dozen in-theatre, and subsequent VHS versions over he years, it sets the start of Maria's release into the real world. Gone, now the "Sound of Music" lacks the spirituality of life itself.
