Sounds good but can only be controlled with the supplied remote
This soundbar was purchased for my 90 year old mother-in-law who has trouble hearing the rear firing TV speakers. Not only does it sound better than the TV speakers it also has an option to enhance the sound of dialogue (which gives voices a welcome boost). It looks good sitting in front of the TV.
Unfortunately the volume can only be controlled by using the included remote. Neither the TV (Sharp Aquos) nor the cable box (Optimum) remotes will pair up to work the soundbar. This may become problematic when my mother-in-law forgets she has more than one way of controlling volume; the remote is also on the small side and may be easily lost.
The soundbar has optical (cable included) and RCA inputs (Bluetooth also). Mounting brackets are also included.
