Puss in Boots (DVD MOVIE)

Tying 3 stories into 1

I like the way that the story of Puss in Boots ties 3 stories together. You have the story of Jack and the Beanstalk, Humpty Dumpty, as well as Puss in Boots. And as they tie them together, they make them fit like a glove. The artwork is captivating and well done. The action moves smoothly from one scene to the next. The characters are amazing and are down to earth realistic. There is always at least one, if not more, that anyone can relate to. There is drama, mystery, romance, and family issues. And underlying, the conflict of right and wrong. I do highly recommend this movie. Parents can use this movie to teach valuable lessons to their children. As my daughter puts it, the movie is awesomeness to the max!

Rankin/Bass TV Holiday Favorites Collection

Christmas Specials

This set contains some hard to find Rankin and Bass Christmas Specials. I have been looking for "The Little Drummer Boy Book II" for a long time. We love Rankin and Bass for "Rudolph, The Red-Nosed Reindeer", "Frosty the Snowman", and "Santa Claus is Coming to Town" to name a few. These 4 stories are the same when it comes to entertaining and provoking family conversation. And, as usual, the artwork is just beautiful. I highly recommend the Rankin and Bass TV Holiday Favorites Collection for both young and the young at heart.
