Bright enough for me and inexpensive!
Some might call these cheap. Not me. I've never had lights like these and they look really good. I bought these for less than the price of 1 of the major brands and they work just the same! The gobos look good, the light is pretty bright and it fills a small to medium venue with some good moving light. I used 2 of them for a party and then was disappointed that I didn't have 2 more. I run one on master setting and the other on slave 1, invert the tilt and the pan on the slave and stand back and watch them go! They look good with fog. I even mounted them on the side of my truss so when they point up, they are really pointing at the crowd. They are light enough that this is easily accomplished.
I plan to get two more and run them off the master in Slave 2 mode so they will do a little different stuff then the first two, but still be in sync. If you've never had any of these before, you are going to love them. There is no setup in Freestyler for these lights, but if you follow the DMX mapping, its pretty easy to figure out. Watch a lot of YouTube! If you are going to run more of them with a DMX I would suggest getting a DMX splitter of some kind and just run regular to the master then out to the rest of your lights, leaving the other lights set as slave to your master.
For a venue with a lower ceiling, I plan to set them on the floor or a pedestal and let them run. I think this is a really good investment! I did get the insurance with them just in case. I hope I don't need it. They seem like pretty good lights!

Looks great with my home made DJ facade!
I bought this to go behind my DJ façade. Just lay them on the floor or I put mine on a couple of boards and taped it down. You can set it on music so it flashes with the music playing or just have it go through a sequence. it looks great! Make sure to get the big power supply with it if you are going to use all of them and don't leave it on the reel, run it all off because it does get kind of hot. Not a problem if you reel it out. Small enough to run a truss warmer light as well.
And talk about a cheap uplight? Just run it along the wall to get a 15 foot wash along the wall behind your equipment.
For this price, get a couple of them! You always need a spare!
These look great!
