Ego's VS progress
2 of 2 found this helpful "And The Band Played On" is a story of events that have hit millions of households in the world today. Big name doctors could have made a major impact on this terrible disease before it became a household name. However, their equally big ego got in the way and now it is almost tantamount to a world wide plague. True, modern medicine has made tremendous strides in research but it is sad to remember it could have been contained if not stopped altogether many years ago.
