Frightfully Ghoul-d Garden Flag

This flag is made of durable material with the image on BOTH sides (not the reverse image on the other side like some flags do). The art is beautifully done with suitably spooky colors and excellent composition! This is definitely one of the best Halloween Garden Flags I've found. Any monster lover would be proud to display this in front of their haunted abode! Two BIG zombie thumbs up!

My Vote For Grace!

I am a children's illustrator/author myself and I have to say that this is one of the finest children's books to come along in a long, long time! It succeeds in a number of ways. First, it is a WONDERFUL introduction to children as to just how the electoral process works. But it is, also, first and foremost, a DELIGHTFUL story of a strong girl who can't understand why there has never been a female president and sets out to change all that. The illustrations are excellent. The composition is well thought out, the color palate perfectly suits the story, and the characters are full of personality. I am very particular about which children's books I add to my collection. This one deserves FIFTY stars (and stripes) as a real winner! It definitely gets MY "popular vote" :-)

One of the GREATEST Fright Films of the '30's!

I can't stop 'waxing rhapsodic' about this flick! It is, without a doubt, one of my favorite movies of the golden age of fright films. It's really a no holds barred story line with bravo performances, expert directing, and superb art direction in glorious Two-Color Technicolor. And, thanks to Steve MacQueen, at loooooooong last, here is a restored print that looks every bit as good as it did when it was first released in 1933. If you love the classic Horror Films of the Thirties and you don't have this newly restored version of The Mystery of the Wax Museum, then your collection is not complete!
