These boxes have served me well. I ship vacuum tubes in these so need a box that is fairly strong. Good value!

Fantastic sound quality for little $$
I have had many high end items since the early 90's. I bought these to pair with TV and movies because they make the dialog so much easier to hear. With music, instruments and vocals are clearly delineated. There is good pitch and tone. Timbre is very good but not perfect. Dynamic changes are excellent. Music comes alive. Drums have good punch. They add very good emotion to the music. These are not dull, lifeless sound speakers. They can seam a little bright at times but probably due to the program material and effects from my own acoustic environment. Bass was a little weak when they first arrived. After some break in time, the bass sound much stronger. Stand up bass is excellent with nice tone and pitch changes clearly heard. I could go on and on. I have these paired with Adcom GTP 350 pre, Adcom GFA 5500, Arcam fmj cd23, Parasound phono and Rega Planar 3. Can't wait to try them with tube power. Doug
