Made my wife's iPhone 6 Plus look brand new again
1 of 1 found this helpful I used this kit to replace the screen on my wife's iPhone. I had bought a similar kit previously, and ended up cracking it on the final step (totally my fault). So you have to be careful. Watch a YouTube video on how to do it. Be careful with the cables inside; they are fragile. The trickiest part is arranging the four cables when putting it back together. The videos can't do this part justice, so pay attention to the order in which the cables are layered down when taking it apart. And, on the last step (laying the screen/digitizer back into the phone), be very careful. Don't press on any part of the screen if it doesn't have metal supporting it from behind. I might suggest (though I didn't do it this way) applying pressure to the whole screen with something flat, like a piece of Styrofoam or wood with soft cloth or flannel covering it. Other than that, it's really pretty easy to do, and you'll have a great-looking phone afterwards.

Superbly designed little computer
Simply excellent for DIY projects, wearable electronics. Beautifully designed and put together, about the size of a quarter.

Great complement to Tactic AnyLink2 Transmitter adapter
I bought a Tactic AnyLink2 transmitter (tx) adapter, a Tactic 6-ch receiver (rx), and Tactic AnyLink2 cord. The tx adapter mounts to the back of my 72MHz tx with some stick-on velcro-like squares. There's also a battery inside the adapter that needs to be disconnected and charged with a USB charger (included). You still need to charge the tx battery. The cord attaches from the tx adapter to the training port of my 72MHz Tower Hobbies tx. They all seem to work great together. I was able to get the tx to bind to the rx, and tested the receiver with some servos and an electric motor. Everything seems to work well. One tip: I saw somewhere that it's a good idea to apply some hot glue to the base of the receiver antenna, to keep it from breaking off or getting pulled out.
