If you need a low power all singing all dancing router, this is likely to be it!
This is the lightweight version of the popular hAP series. It draws a mere 8W has wifi of 2.4 and 5 Ghz, supports power by POE with a single port for passive POE out, but comes with a 24 V power supply (unit supports 6 to 30V supply, think battery supply in remote location). My only criticism of the implementation of the POE is that it comes in to port1 which is ok if your bridged internet modem can do POE...
It autoconfigures to number 1 port being attached to a bridged modem (eg NBN) and has the wonderful RouterOs installed which for a tinkerer is just perfect. If not a tinkerer it is worth reading how to secure the router on the MikroTik site. It packs a punch greater than routers costing 2 to 3 times as much. This model has 5 ports and I think these are limited to 10/100 unlike the more power hungry big brothers (15W).
It also supports USB modem support (4G, GX or plus or whatever your telephone service comes up with) and can use that as a failover supply ( I did not have to configure a thing to get that to work!).
This machine also supports several VPN tunnels as client or server (or pass through if you must). The OpenVPN server/client is limited to TCP and I have had some issues with forcing use of pre shared authorisation keys however remains my preferred system for connecting to my home Mikrotik router (computer or another Mikrotik), There is an idiot's guide setup page but be careful about using the VPN without studying the howtos in case you lock yourself out.
In addition the system comes with a free time server DDNS service so those without fixed IPs can still use VPNs without middlemen.
Configuration can be achieved using bespoke tools supplied by Mikrotik my favourite is WinBox.exe on windows, it just works...

solid well made product with good angulation and designed for US market
well made product with good angle control. only issue was that it is made for a different market and uses imperial size allen keys. this of course makes it more secure in a non imperial country but would have been nice to know so I had appropriate keys.

Does reasonable job
without instructions it is important to look at the pre assembled wires in your kit however once that is sorted (insulation in base area and bare wire in second section, none in connector area) you then have to experiment a couple of times to get the right width. I found the 0.5 mm to be best for my connectors (for 2.54mm headers). Steadying the assembly prior to the ratchet engaging can take a few goes and the open base area needs to point down into the receiving part of the crimper, ie rests on the small grooved central piece to get the right shape. If over crimped or in the wrong part you do get little wings that would prevent insertion into the headers. Crushing these with needle nose pliers can salvage them.
