Zodiac Super Sea Wolf 53 Green dial watch
Another immediate purchase due to the close-out price. I have the limited edition light blue bezel version of this and the quality is superb - except for the difficult jubilee bracelet latch. Watching a YouTube review of this version with the modern bracelet and better latch I felt a dark green dial would fit right in with the collection. The dial and mineral bezel is an eye-catcher and it looks gorgeous in sunlight. Great lume as this would be a functional diver watch. It is a classy and slightly dressier design compared to other sport divers so it may prove to be versatile for dressy or casual outings. I did not need this version but I do not regret jumping on the value impulse buy!

Awesome detail
I have various 1/43 scale versions of Ferrari transporters. Never thought one would be made in 1/18 and for a smaller price. It’s big and full of cool details. Just need to load it now with cars.

Best version of the Zodiac ZMX03
Yes, the close-out price prompted the purchase. This was a watch on my list due to the aggressive look and awesome orange highlights. I have many Zodiacs and although I prefer mechanic/automatics, Zodiac is one of the few that make outstanding quality quartz watches - very much tool watches. This one is better in person. I appreciate the movement with the large date window at 12. The gimmick that sells this is the built-in led illumination that gives it a jewel orange glow when it lights up for a few seconds and then fades out. Really cool. I believe I get a hint of vanilla scent from the strap which is in keeping with other Zodiacs. The screw down pushers are unique and easy to manage. The chrono mechanism on this movement is not special but it will work for timing tasks for fun. I prefer the meca-quartz type movements. Nevertheless for the price this is a brutal beauty!
