Academy 72nd scale F-15C
1 of 1 found this helpful This is a well detailed model of the F-15C. Molding of parts is very sharp and clear; no flash. I would recommend this model for a builder of some experience, however a young modeler can tackle it with some help from Dad or Mom. Box lists model as skill level four. Armament consists of four AIM-9X and four AIM-120C air-to-air missiles and two external tanks. Nice decal sheet for two Oregon Air National Guard Eagles and one Kadena Air Base plane. Box lid and instruction sheet provide a nice paint index listing needed colors and various paint manufacturers. Academy have done a really nice job with this kit.

Terrific book for the aviation enthusiast and/or model airplane builder. Easy and informative read.

1/48 Hawker Hurricane model kit by Pegasus Hobbies
This is an excellent kit to use for introducing kids to model building. Snaps together and has stickers and decals. Sturdy enough to be played with. More seasoned model builders will like the simplicity and the fact you can still paint and decal it to your liking. This Hurricane is a quick build and is a great kit for the price! And.....it looks like a Hawker Hurricane!
