Disappointed in quality for SURE....
I ordered this as a solution for viewing our watersports passengers- obviously turning your head around continuously just doesn't cut it. In the photos, the mirror looks very high quality and solid. This is not the case once it was received. Out of the gate, my mirror had 2 marks/ scratches in the mirror surface. My automatic inclination was send it back; however, we were having a tubing / watersports party the next day and I needed something to see the passengers / riders. So, I chose to keep this one even though it was CLEARLY blemished. Very poor judgement on my part.
This product comes in pieces and you must put it together. I'm fairly mechanically inclined and work on all of my equipment. Putting things together or taking them apart is never an issue for me. I'll say this about putting the mirror together. The mirror and its components (plastic backing, swivel / rotating ball, and screws) are ridiculously CHEAP. The entire time I was wrestling with it to put it together, I was worried that I was going to break something. I had to struggle forever to get the screws to "bite" into the pre drilled slots in plastic to hold mirror together. It was a joke. If someone had seen me and my level of frustration, they would have been dying laughing.
The arm looks to be be solid initially. The sizing for my tower worked out well and was secured in a minute or less. The problem with the tower is the clamp that secures the mirror to an aluminum post. The clamp doesn't want to tighten the mirror securely. It seems to be a sizing/ machining issue. I have tried to snug up the clamp (tighten it to the metal arm) before securing (pushing it down) it an attempt to make it tighter. Unfortunately, the mirror continues to slip from time to time. One minute you can see the skiers / tubers, the next the mirror has moved and you can't see squat. I've used it out of necessity and am regretting it ever since. It should be sent back, but I"ll be damned if I'm going to pay return shipping on this. I should have spent the high end $$$ (probably over 300.00) and bought a true, well designed wakeboard / watersports mirror. I'm going to try and limp through the season with this and then buy a proper one next year- which will cost me more than if I had gone with the more expensive one in the first place. Do not buy this unless you enjoy being sorely disappointed.

Could be great....
1 of 1 found this helpful Not a great fit at all. Very difficult to put onto my 1987 XR250R. Once fitted the pegs won’t seat themselves into a flat,
neutral peg position. The pegs aren’t correctly built to match the specs on my bike and as a result are angled slightly back and upward in what is supposed to be their fitted position. No, nothing on my bike is bent in any way, shape or form. My stock pegs seat themselves perfectly in a neutral, level position as one would expect. Are they useable/ rideable? Yes. Am I happy? No. Are they better than stock? That’s a loaded question. .....They are wider but because of being ‘back angled’ they feel kind of weird. Not sure I’m going to keep them and may go back to the narrow, stock pegs. I readily recognize that parts for my 33 yr old bike are hard to come by; however, I spent good money for something that’s supposed to work properly on my bike for the intended purpose. I would say don’t buy them. Look for something else. Your money can be better spent elsewhere.
