AS WITH ALL THE ROSANNE BITTNER BOOKS, THIS ONE STANDS HIGH IN MY ESTIMATION OF EXCELLENCE. ALL THE INGREDIENTS FOR A FAST PAGE-TURNER ARE HERE BECAUSE OF CHARACTERS BROUGHT TO LIFE WITH HER WRITING STYLE; THE HISTORICALLY CORRECT INFORMATION ABOUT LIFE IN THE 1800'S AND EARLY 19TH CENTURY. THIS AUTHOR WROTE THIS BOOK A WHILE BACK, BUT IF YOU HAVE NOT READ HER BOOKS, THEY ARE A NEW BOOK TO YOU. THE PERFECT EARRINGS - gold dome 18 mm.
1 of 1 found this helpful Years ago, I wore this same size earrings - 18 mm. and 14K gold. I wore them every day for about 20 years. These earrings are the same but heavily plated with gold of the same color gold. No allergy with these earrings, The post may be all gold. Eagle Above Watching
A review of Bittner's books is always the same - a wonderful read. After devouring her whole collection I find that this book was historically correct with just the right mix of romance and factual events of the time connecting the whites with the Indian conflicts. This is an author of a decade ago, but if you haven't read a book, it is a new book for you. I think I have read all her books now and have moved on to other authors. I must say that Bittner is a hard act to follow.
