drop it in and it works easy for old systems
easy way to get extra 2.0 usb ports for an old sytem which still has PCI bus expansion slots. my decade old motherboard was having issues with onboard usb ports so i dropped one of these cards in and disabled the problematic ones.

Alfa makes good product however they are always ten steps behind in technology and what you buy today is outdated tomorrow.

doesnt work most times
Connectors are very poor quality the device disvonnects constantly and you have to fiddle with connectors disconnect and reconnect several times to get it eorking again. Disconnects and drops connection more than 30 times in 12 hour use.
