International Harvester D - 2 pickup truck

Using for a massive 400 SqFt Diorama I’m currently creating.
I o course will be destroying its ultra shiny paint job, in favor of a well warn weathered look so the truck won’t look out of place with all of the other warn models I’m using.
The exterior details are spot on, though it’s not designed to compete on a 1 to 1 basis with Franklyn and Danbury mint models, detail wise.
I would highly recommend it to all “cornbinder”enthusiasts, as well as to those who want a well made Diecast with good dimensional accuracy.

MPC 1972 GTO,
This is a rehash of the white 1972 AMT GTO KIT, with out all the extras. The kit is hood, but they missed the mark, by molding it in orange plastic.
If it’s the only 72 Pontiac intermediate, you can find, go for it, but the AMT VERSION, molded in white, is far better suited to painting any color you choose, from white to black, and every color in between.
I can only give this model a “C”, the missing parts in this addition and the orange plastic make this an average to below average kit for the general builder.
I say get the better kit, in white, for better results
