Better than my Craftsman ShopVac
3 of 3 found this helpful The AshVac has plenty of suction to do what it is supposed to. I have a wood burning fireplace insert and heat my house with it, so it is in use a lot. There are a lot of ashes, the this machine gets them all.
There is only one limitation: There are often chunks of charcoal left over after the fire goes out and those tend to clog up the hose. I wish the hose were larger. I am in the process of creating a solution for this problem, and if it works, I will patent it, because I'm sure I'm not the only one with that problem.
Overall, the vac is solid, well built and fairly quiet (still sends my dog running for the bedroom when I turn in on). The metal bin gives me the peace of mind knowing that it will not melt or catch fire if I suck up some hot embers.

More features than I will ever need...
I bought this camera because I already had a Kodak and was very satisfied with it until I dropped it and it quit working. I wanted to stay with Kodak because the first one lasted me so many years and because I already had the Easy Share software on my computer.
This camera is perfect for what I do. I restore antique clocks and needed a camera that could take close-ups without all the blurriness. In addition, many of the pictures are in low light (inside the clock, for instance). My pictures are clear and I can enlarge them to reveal fine detail when I need to. It is also excellent for general picture taking, both portrait and scenery. I even managed to take a great picture of the full moon last week.
I've used the camera for several months now and am completely satisfied with it. I would highly recommend this camera and the related software.

I've tried other metal polishes but this one is the best.Really does a great job getting rid of tarnish on brass. 😁
