Good Buy
1 of 1 found this helpful My first e-reader. The screen is very good, as is the battery. From day to day it uses only about 8% of its charge. You can sideload pdf files but it's tricky to scroll the pages. Better to convert them to mobi format first. Surprisingly the Kindle doesn't read epub files. They too have to be converted to mobi. I've loaded 2.8G of files without any issues. I like this device because it is dedicated to reading and doesn't distract me with access to the internet. This is a refurbished, older model of Kindle but works well. No problems.
