Great value for the artist
1 of 1 found this helpful I like this acrylic paint set for many reasons.....I like the larger size than the typical 12 ml tubes...This one is 18 ml so it lasts longer. The color choices included in this set are good commonly used colors and easy to blend and lighten and darken for shading. The price is excellent for this many tubes of paint. It makes a great gift for the artist in the family! I am giving this one to my 15 year old daughter. She will be thrilled to have so many shades. Highly recommend. ;)

Solid book for research into Heraldry
I chose this book because it is one of the most complete books out there to explain the symbolism and history behind heraldry. It has lots of black and white pictures as well as some color plates. I did evaluations on other books, and this one stands out as a good choice to start research for those interested in the background and compilation of the many different family names, heritage, clans, groups that first used the pictorial depictions to represent themselves. I use the book to design my own coat of arms for various uses. I recommend using this book in conjunction with others that may have more art or explanations in history. Solid choice.
