Great Book for Plains History buffs.
1 of 1 found this helpful I've read this book several times now. I live very close to most of the areas that were described within the book by Billy Dixon (about 12 miles from Buffalo Wallow). This part of the Panhandle is fairly remote today, I can only imagine what it was like in the 1870's. If your a plains history, Indian War's history, or buffalo hunter history buff, you will love this book.

Classic Look, Nice practical addition to a vintage revolver
I wanted to keep the factory magna style grips on a vintage K-frame revolver. The aluminum Tyler T grip allowed a better hand filling grip and retention of the original grips. These are worth the extra dollars over the plastic grips offered by others. Thanks!

Great upgrade to your P Bass!
5 of 5 found this helpful I was disappointed in the stock passive pickups in my American Fender Precision Bass. The punch and growl that I was looking for was not there with the stock pickups despite endless tinkering with the tone and amp EQ. After reviewing and listening to several different pickup setups, I decided to give the EMG Geezer Butler passive pickups a try. I expected some of the "greatness" claimed for the pickups to be hype resulting from the Butler endorsement, but am more than happy with the sound now that the pickups are installed and have been played. With the addition of the EMG Geezer Butler pickups, there is plenty of punch and growl in my P Bass. These really woke up my precision bass.
The only negative that I found with the pickups (and this may be from my inexperience installing pickups) was the difference in depth of the EMG's vs. the stock pickups. The EMG's sit quite a bit deeper in the pickup pocket than the stock pickups. The stock pickups have foam that allows for a certain degree of resistance when setting pickup height. The EMG's did not come with foam and the stock foam would not work well as a replacement. If this is a concern, you may want to find some foam to provide the adjustment resistance that you prefer. The pickups are plug and play which is quick and easy.... that is a plus.
