FT23RK FTDU SERUAK ADAPTOR MINI PORT FOR ARDUINO
I received the module (chip) with no documentation; however, the labeling on the input/outputs should be all you need. I used the serial adapter to program an Arduino Nano using the Arduino IDE. Most of the problems I had were related to poor documentation on the Arduino Nano. The pin descriptions were vague and some pins had no documentation on the chip -- imagine that! I finally had to order some replacement Nano's with the interface pins (6 of them: gnd, tx, rx, vcc, dtr, rts, cts) all on the same side of the chip. Make sure if you order a nano that all of the pins have a descriptor on the pcb and your life will be much easier. The FTDI worked great and was a good buy for the money.

HC-12 433 mhZ TRANSCEIVER MODULE
The unit works well and meets specs. From inside a house you can probably expect around a 300' range providing you use the high power setting. There is a lot of sample code on github to get you going.l There are some gotcha's with the use of the chips: They should be kept at least 1.5 m distance apart when transmitting. You should reduce power if you are doing initial testing in your house. A capacitor is recommended when using high power (5.0v). I have had better luck using 3.3v vice the 5.0v power source. The unit has four main setting which you should initialize before using to make sure each TC/RX pair are identical. The settings are baud rate (default = 9600 Baud), Channels (100), power (-1 dbm to 20dbm), and protocol. These parameters allow you great flexibility in setting up your unit and allow you to customize the chip to the project you are working on. There is also the flexibility to set up a pair of HC-12's for a Mailbox Notifier to a LAN of HC-12's for Home Automation. Great chip, good price, and a lot of flexibility make the HC-12 a good tool for the Arduino embedded controller.

NETGEAR 5-PORT ETHENET SWITCH - GREAT PERFORMCE AND PRICE
Switch works flawlessly with many different devices connected: raspberry pi, laptops, ham radio transceivers, etc. NetGear has always given great performance and a very fair price! Been using NetGear for over 20 years and have not had a compatibility or performance issue yet.
