Induro BHM1 - the tiny mighty!
Don't let the small size fool you, this ball head can hold a payload up to 44 lbs. It's well constructed and has all around smooth action. I especially like the "pull to turn" Acra clamp knob, which prevents accidentally loosening the knob to ensure a secure fit.

Fine, sharp lens. Not great for astro; lens cap tends to fall off
1 of 4 found this helpful The EF 15mm F/2.8 lens is very sharp, fast lens. I give it 4 out 5 due to extreme coma aberration when using lens for astrophotography. Stars are crisp and focus is exact when focus ring is racked to infinity – a real plus when compared to other wide lenses – but coma flare is really bad in outer fringe of the frame. Lens cap design is very poor. With repeated use, the friction hold becomes weakened. Care should be taken to ensure lens cap doesn't come off in your camera bag. In general, this is a great lens for landscapes and low light photography.

Essential equipment
The new Canon LP-E6NH battery charge life is good but not great. Having two battery bays doubles the life. More than anything, I love the dual buttons on the grip that makes portrait shooting so much easier.
