The only signs of aging is the snap that separated due to tarnishing brass. It is an easy fix. Was told it had been in storage a long time and never carried or used and the condition is outstanding and other than the snap it has a new appearance. The metal backing and tip protection plate is perfect with no scratches. Very glad to add this to my collection . Thanks for great packaging and shipping THANKS

Stilldub rocks, and so do his strings!
I have now ordered three or four different strings from stilldub, and each one has been a gem. I ordered my first string from him because he was the cheapest provider I could find. Being a bit of a newbie, I was impressed with how patient and informative he was in answering my questions and addressing all my concerns, and how he seemed to take a real interest in helping me get the right string for my needs. You would think my first experience with his product and service would have inspired some customer loyalty, but no, I had to "shop around". I have also ordered from a couple of other individuals as well as a couple of large online archery supply stores, just to get an idea of the range of quality available vs. the cost for their products. I am here to tell you, don't waste your time... Stilldub's Flemish bowstrings are not only the best value for the money, they compare very favorably to the best of the more expensive bowstrings available, costing in some cases more than twice as much! I'm not given to writing reviews of any kind, much less one as "gushy" as this, but damn, I defy anyone to find a better deal on traditional bowstrings that isn't making them for themselves.
