Performance on the cheap.
Ok if you can't afford the new 9900K or don't have 2 grand in your pocket for a shiny new Skylake or 10 grand for the Xeon Scalable line ( or you just don't want to seeing (back) over to AMD) then these processors are the ticket. A tick away from the generation of Sandy Bridge processors they are regarded as the generation that made a mark in the performance ranks. It is snappy. Slices through video and audio with little effort. Xeons are built to last. For the price for my application these were the right purchase for the job at hand.

Enterprise card that don't compromise on features and stable
I consider this to be the "Cadillac" of raid controllers, I own 3 such cards. They are pretty bullet proof and have many ways to manage your array, It is not cheap by any stretch of the imagination and if you don't require all the features for your build then you can go with any other card that uses the LSI chipset. But if you want something with max flexibility, good reliability and the ease of mind that you have a product you don't have to change out due to issues then this is the card for you.. 24 SATAIII/SAS ports... You can't go wrong!

Good performance, on the cheap!
With today's fury of processor choices one must look at the bottom line: Your wallet! Sure! I could have gone out and spent 4 times as much on similar newer procs for 35% to 40% increase on performance. I would rather spend my money elsewhere. And you can't beat these processors even if you tried!
Considering that these are the same ( or similar ) proces in a Mac Pro ( think trashcan) I now have a system (running linux) that can cut 4k video with the best of them. If you are drooling for V3/V4 like speeds but only have V1 type money. Give these babies a shot! they will not disappoint!
