GE Profile - It's Glass - Hello It Can Get Scratched!
It has nice features like the power boil feature and warms up rather fast and looked great with my counters. I previously had the same size cooktop as this one with knobs, but I broke the glass which costs more than half of a new one to replace. This cooktop has the smallest rough opening of all cooktops that I could find, so it was a drop-in to my existing opening. This product is sensitive to scratches, because salt can scratch it if it spills over. If you purchase this cooktop remember not to slide your pans across the surface set directly down that is why there are so many complaints. You must clean it with the recommended cleaners only. It is much easier to clean than my old one with knobs. If you are careless with pans or slide them when setting them down than this is not the cooktop for you. I would go with gas or a coil element cooktop.

Protect Your Investment
In the box were six protectors, cleaning cloth, small spray bottle of installation solution, and a squeegee (needed for a large surface). The instructions seemed vague, so it had a web site that had a great video of the installation process. The protector went on the curved surface very easily. I really liked how well this looked and that it didn't need more than a few minutes to set, but I let it dry overnight. It blends right in and does not impact the touch sensitivity of the band.

I would recommend this product to anyone looking mid-range upgrade.
The kit came in a sealed bag with no instructions, but they weren’t really necessary. It only took a few minutes to install on my new frame. I wanted to use my old cables and lever, since they’re relatively new and wanted to keep the cost down. I am happy with the overall appearance and performance of the rear kit, so far, no brake squeal or vibration, just great braking.
