Matches and fits well.
I've wanted these for my Mk VII Golf Sportwagen since having similar ones on former cars. They're pretty easy to install and look professional. I was nervous about not placing them correctly, but a tape measure [cloth is best] and some masking tape allow lining the pieces up and where to install them easy to do. Once I was organized, it took less than an hour in teh garage to install both sides. I wondered about how far up on the doors to place them. On the GSW I measured down 25 cm from the ridge at the level of the door handles from front to back and put masking tape at the top of that. Aligning them front to back was also done with masking tape to cordon off the front and back. With the area clean and dry, just rip off the tape backing and start at one edge and lightly align in place. Once all is aligned, press down hard all along the trim piece and you're done. Looks really great!

Work well on glaze ice and on icy hills
2 of 2 found this helpful I've had these on only a couple of days. Ice this winter is tough - near freezing so a bit of water on top in places. I've cycled singletrack with spotty ice. Going down hill and uphill on the icy trails has been consistent and stable, for the most part. Riding on flat glaze ice for long periods has also been stable. No crashes in about 5 hours of riding. Wish I could post a pic, but no way I see to do that.
As for lightweight, a 4.8" nominal studded tire is heavy, but compared to others, it's as lightweight as it's going to be. I installed Specialized 26 x 3 tubes to also lighten the weight and that s working fine.
For the novice, getting these large tires to seat can be tricky. Had to take the rear one up to almost 30 psi to get it to seat. At that pressure, a sudden blowout could have been ugly! All is well.

So much safer than the DOT flat mirrors.
1 of 1 found this helpful I've installed these blind spot mirrors on several cars and find they make my driving much safer. This product is well made, installs easily, and the blue color seems to make the images in the mirror more clear.
