Not Powerful Enough
I was hoping to use this for a tire inflator and a matress inflator that run off of 12 VDC. I had a prior Radio Shack unit that I used for this until it failed. The older Radio Shack model was not available any longer. This unit doesn't have enough power output for either of my inflators. Very disappointed the original model has been discontinued.

Great Product
33 of 33 found this helpful This works great and makes maintaining chlorine levels easy. This is my second IC40. The first unit lasted 13 years before giving up. That's a pretty good run. The only issue with the replacement cell is it mounts upside down from my original one. I wish they would have provided an alternate label overlay option. Its just not right having the words upside down. it almost bugs me enough to rework my plumbing to get it right side up. They changed the flow direction for a reason, so I'm not messing with the flow switch which would also violate the warranty terms.
