We needed this one so we didn’t miss any clues!

This book was a missing link in our collection of Mary Pope Osborne’s incredible Magic Treehouse series. These books were written for young readers, but my friends and I have found that they work great as read-aloud books for children as young as 4. The dependable setting and structure and the fast-paced adventures in a great variety of times and places keep even young children’s attention. The stories serve to introduce readers/listeners to exciting places and cultures while learning new concepts, view points and vocabulary. And then there is the Magic. No matter how frightening the topic might seem, the magic assures that Jack and Annie always get home safely. There is a world of information within these pages.
