They don't write them like this anymore!
This series is as engrossing now as it was when I first saw it on PBS. The actors are wonderful and the writing is superb. I'm not binging (showing great restraint on my part) but rationing the shows to a couple episodes per week. They are outstanding! And huge thanks to the nice seller for putting them out there. No technical problems have come to light thus far. Thanks for something great!

Wit, intrigue, suspense, charm -- what more could you want?
The DVD's arrived in good condition, and I found the characters intriguing. Pay attention so that you don't miss passages in the timeline! Good writing, good acting. This must have been a lot of fun for many of the actors, as they had dual roles.
