Basically good, but the wheels fall off
This is a handy and fairly easy to assemble tumbler, though for summer use only (it freezes solid in snow and ice). I loved it until the metal pipe linking the two wheels broke. It's hollow and couldn't withstand the weight of the compost when the two chambers were full. I complained, and the manufacturer's service dept. sent me another. But the two wheels and two stabilizers on the bottom of this thing are just not up to the task, so I took them off, which works better. Compost tumblers like this leak compost "tea," so it's a much better idea to put them on grass rather than a paved surface like a driveway. I tried that, and the leaking "tea" attracted flies. On grass, no problem. If you don't fill the chambers more than 3/4 full of food scraps and if you make sure you're adding twice to three times as much dried leaves, sawdust, or shredded paper as food, there will never be a stench or critter problem. The fuller it is, the less easy to tumble, but the ridges in the body make for convenient hand grips, and gee -- you get black humus, ready to dump out and cure on the ground, in little over two weeks! Magic!

Astonishingly good.
1 of 1 found this helpful This is not just about the migration of African Americans from the American South, it is a study of their identities as passed-over Americans: how they see the world, the challenges they face on a daily basis, the way they saw -- and see -- themselves and their place in American society. Genuine and moving, enlightening and heartbreaking. It is a long read and requires fortitude to get through, but the writing sparkles, the stories stick with you, and the experience is priceless.

Warm, washable, comfy, environmentally wise.
These slippers are a dramatic improvement over the usual polyester microfiber types that can't be washed without sending their tiny filaments into our aquifers (and bloodstreams.) They're more comfortable, too, and quiet. You can sneak up on people without being heard. Being 100% wool, they are warmest things in the world, and seem to hug the foot. Whoever designed these things ought to win a prize. Best of all, they are durable. I'm betting that with a little TLC, they'll be with me another ten, maybe 20 years.
