For a member who has been on ebay since 1999 I find this behavior unacceptable and thoughtless. If you get an item that sound like it has a broken part inside when you open it up the first thing you should do is contact the seller or file for a free return....not wait a couple weeks and leave bad feedback.

Enclosure Solution
When I excavated a trench for power to my garage, a separate, smaller plastic conduit was included for carrying Internet, phone and security low voltage cable and wires. The garage is insulated and all walls and ceilings covered in true man cave fashion. All electrical is surface mount with EMT (metal) conduit. This NEMA-1 indoors enclosure is large enough for a 4x4 junction box to be mounted inside for 2 duplex outlets. The underground conduit is neatly routed to this enclosure, where two AC adapters are concealed to charge and to power the EMT connected battery-backed Burglar/Fire control and the Internet GigaSwitch (CAT-6). So neat and organized, while keeping everything secure, out of sight, and conveniently accessible. The enclosure comes with a rotating door latch, easily replaced with a toolbox locking latch from the local hardware. Ideal solution, clean look, lots of room inside. EMT knockouts are abundant.
