Great movie!
Set during WW2 in Louisiana, a black Army Sergeant is murdered, and a black Officer is sent to investigate the murder. Turns out that the murdered Sgt. was not very well liked by his men due to his harshness and his warped idea of advancing the black race by having ignorant Southern blacks framed for crimes and sent to prison because in his opinion, they make all blacks look bad. On top of the, the KKK is active in the area and is known to dislike blacks wearing Army uniforms. Several white officers at the fort are also resentful of him. Some because he's too harsh, some just because he's black. A great whodunnit movie that explores racism in the South during the 1940s

GET THESE SHEETS!!
LOVE these flannel sheets!! EXTREMELY well made and comfortable. VERY soft, especially after a couple washings.
