Solid build, stable operation, convenient
Very happy with this device! Build quality is excellent, and even more importantly, its stability in operation is great. I’ve had it plugged into my older HP Envy X360 (Windows 11 Pro) for some time now and the Ethernet is rock solid, the external displays work well and it provides plenty of power. It has plenty of ports and it’s really nice to only have to plug/un-plug a single cord anytime I want to go portable. Before I had to unplug the power supply, the monitor and USB hub. Now it’s just a quick connect/disconnect and the laptop simply transitions. No freezing, no reboots, etc.

WD19 and WD19S are Rock Solid with Dell Precision 5560 Notebook
The WD19S works very reliably with my Dell Precision 5560 Notebook. The included 180W power supply provides sufficient power to not get the "warning" message about battery charging current too low. Also, the USB-C DisplayPort connection is far more reliable than the USB-C Thunderbolt connections on other models. At my workplace, I use different variations of this docking station, and the ones with the "DP" badging (DisplayPort logo) on the connector cord, and the 180W power supply work perfectly every time. The ones with the smaller, 130W power supply cause a charge warning pop-up to appear, and the ones with "TB" in the model (ThunderBolt) sometimes have issues with the Ethernet. These WD19S and WD19 (not the WD19TB or WD19TBS) with the 180W or 240W power supplies are rock solid with my Precision 5560 all the time.

Perfect for Removing Suborn Crankshaft Bolt
My good friend who is an AST Certified Master Mechanic and owns a garage, recommended the Schley tool as among the best aftermarket tool suppliers. He says they are consistently of great quality and way less expensive than the factory special tools.
After struggling for a week to get the crankshaft bolt off of our 2003 Sienna minivan so we could change the water pump and timing belt, I resorted to buying this tool. I tried most of the homemade tools for this purpose that I could find on YouT and Toyota repair forums only to them all bend or break. My 1/2” impact wrench just made noise and didn’t budge it. Finally I decided to give it one final try with this tool after consulting my mechanic friend. The alternative was to tow the partially disassembled minivan to the garage up the street and pay over $850 to finish the job.
When the tool arrived I was confident it would work. It is made from a single casting with channels the run all the way up the sides to reinforce the holding bolts. This prevents any bending or twisting of the hold down bolts because the tool mounts firmly to the surface of the pulley and nearly all of the applied torque works only in the sheer direction of the bolts, making them MUCH harder to deform or break. There is a square hole in the stubby tail that accepts a 1/2” breaker bar with a good tight fit. However, we did not use that. Instead, we simply rested the stubby tail extension on a jack stand, placed a 1/2” deep impact socket over the bolt, connect a 2ft extension to that (to reach outside of the wheel well) then slipped a 4ft pipe over the breaker bar handle for more leverage. It came off rather easily. This was much safer and much easier than anything else I tried. I wish I would have bought the tool after bending my first homemade fixture. It would have saved me a lot of time!
