Plug n Play
Works as advertised. Identical with the "Craftsman" (MTD) original including the Trombetta brand Made in China data plate (showing original solenoid date of manufacture as 11/7/16). The original solenoid lasted about 7 years, then I noticed that the starter motor sometimes continued to spin after the start sequence, and finally became intermittent such that it took several attempts to effect a start. So far I have only one start on the new solenoid, though I expect it will also last about 7 years. Here in Puerto Rico we cut grass year-round which adds up to about twice as many starts as our seasonal stateside counterparts. Happy Trails!
