Whitesnake - Purple Tour (live) [New CD] With Blu-Ray

A treat for Whitesnake & Deep Purple fans!

I saw this tour live at Casino Rama in Ontario! This is a great reminder of how great the show was! The Blu Ray has amazing sound and picture. WS has some of the best hard rock musicians on the planet! David Coverdale still sounds amazing & Reb Beach is great from Winger/Dokken on guitar along with Joel Hoekstra who recently joined the band from Night Ranger. The incredible Tommy Aldridge who played on many of the original songs from their 87 album is on drums. With a few newcomers to the band. It has a few Deep Purple songs live i've never heard WS play. I only wish my favorite Purple song Stormbringer was on it! They add it as an audio only track as a bonus. Too bad! There are a few other tracks like the guitar solo duel that are audio only. I prefer watching the whole concert beginning to end. But this is still a must have for Whitesnake fans in my mind.
