Great model of a U. S. Ocean Liner that should be used and not left to rust away.
2 of 2 found this helpful I got the SS United States ship model in much less time than I anticipated. It is very large and something I will enjoy for the years I have left. This ocean liner was commissioned in 1952. Many movie stars and important people sailed on her to England and back to New York Harbor. That is where she needs to be NOW. She was the last ship to take the blue ribbon title crossing the Atlantic faster than the original Queen Mary. I think both ships should be in New York Harbor as museum pieces, restaurants and hotels. They should be side by side across from the Statue of Liberty. That would be a great sight and a lesson to our youth in how we used to travel before we flew in these aluminum tubes called Air Liners. They have no style, luxury, restaurants, scenery and the beauty of crossing the Atlantic in style.Today we pack ourselves in crowded aluminum tubes that can crash with just a flock of birds fly through their engines all because we are in a race to get there and don't know how to enjoy travel. .

Very easy to replace and makes my chair look new again.
They were used but looked like new. I was very impressed.
