Only hiccup is the shipping I was charged was $10 and it only cost $2.37 to ship so that was not awesome but overall happyReply from: dan15044- Feedback replied by seller dan15044.- Feedback replied by seller dan15044.Hi, thanks for the positive feedback. A note about the shipping cost. I printed a shipping label at home but put in the wrong weight, so I didn’t pay enough. When I went to the post office to fix it they added the amount you saw on the package. When they put the sticker on the package I was thinking, the buyer is going to think that’s all it cost. Sure enough that’s what happened. No worries on my end, just wanted you to know. Enjoy the pedal! Thanks, Dan

Great pedal with a few limitations
1 of 1 found this helpful I have the mini version. I have used this pedal a few times and overall I like it. Adding subtle high/low octaves really adds to the texture and fullness of chords. Turn the dry signal all the way down and the octaves all the way up and it sounds like a pipe organ, add distortion for a really cool Deep Purple vibe. Stack a clean tone with an acoustic simulator, chorus, and a lush reverb for some rich sounds. I was hoping to get a decent 12-string sound but not so much. The high octave seems to be slightly out of tune (sometimes) for some chords and voicings. I don’t think it’s my playing that is contributing to the dissonance. In general the tracking is very good but there is a detectable lag, albeit short. Once your ear picks up the lag, it becomes obvious and I find it a little annoying, but for most playing it’s fine. The octaves sound a bit artificial but I decided that is to be expected and is immaterial for the sounds I really like from this pedal. I am nitpicking an otherwise excellent pedal, totally worth the $70 I spent on it. I would buy it again and love the handful of sounds it has let me create.

Swirly sweetness, yeah!
Bucket brigade chorus pedals are everywhere, so it’s interesting to me that they can sound so different from one another. JHS found the sweet spot for my tastes. I just couldn’t quite dial in the sounds I was looking for with my MXR Analog Chorus so I sold it and got the JHS, which also has vibrato. Glad I did. I got mine used for $85 but would have been happy at the $99 price for new. American-made too. Great pedal.
